WHAT:       Heart Day celebrates

celebrating the health of our former pediatric patients, and the milestones

and improvements over the past thirty years for the care of children with

heart

disease,” says Linda Addonizio, MD, Medical Director of the Pediatric Cardiac

Transplant Program at the Children’s Hospital of New York.  “It’s

like a

reunion of all of the children who have benefited from pediatric cardiac

care and

cardiac surgery.”

Approximately 400 children of all ages are expected to attend.  Festivities

will

include a visit by the Big Apple Circus Clown Care Unit, live music, cartoon

mascots, face painting, refreshments, and a raffle for a paid family trip

to

Dorney Park & Wild Water Kingdom.
