Cancer Survivors Day at

Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center

 A Celebration of Life for

Adult & Pediatric Cancer Survivors and Their Families

WHAT:       Staff of the Herbert

Irving Cancer Center at Columbia Presbyterian will give a

party in celebration of National Cancer Survivors Day. Adult and pediatric

survivors and their families are invited to enjoy warm reunions as well

as food,

music and dancing. There will be gifts for the children and raffle prizes

for the

grownups. Several survivors will share their experiences with cancer.

WHEN:       Sunday, June 3, 2001

12 Noon to 4:00 PM

WHERE:    Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center

Milstein Hospital Building, The Baldwin Lounge, First Floor

177 Fort Washington Avenue (between 165th & 168th Streets)

New York City

WHO:         About 200

cancer survivors are expected to attend.

The event will be hosted by Oncology Treatment Center

and Social Work staff.

WHY:         An opportunity

for cancer survivors to share their thoughts and feelings about

overcoming cancer and to join in a celebration of life.
