Columbia Presbyterian Seeks Volunteers For Prostate Cancer Prevention Trial

Prostate cancer is the most common type of cancer in men after skin cancer. Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center is seeking volunteers for a trial that will help determine if selenium and vitamin E can reduce the risk of prostate cancer. There is no cost to the participant. You may be eligible for this important trial if you:

· are a male 55 or older, or an African-American male 50 or older. · have never had prostate cancer. · have not had any other cancer for the last five years (except for skin cancer). · are in general good health.
