Match Day 2014

The P&S Class of 2014 achieved near-perfection on Match Day, with most of the participating 151 students matching to a residency.
The most popular residencies with the class are: internal medicine (35), pediatrics or pediatrics-primary care (15), orthopedic surgery (14), anesthesiology (11), emergency medicine (11), and ophthalmology (9). In addition, 12 students are entering surgical residencies: general surgery (7), plastic surgery (2), and one each in thoracic, vascular, and preliminary surgery.
About 40 percent of the class will remain in New York State.
