Exploring Diversity Through Theater

Most people have had experiences that made them think deeply about some aspect of their own identity, such as race, religion, gender, sexuality, culture, or nationality.

Such experiences may be deeply personal, but they are also universal. To give them a public platform, the Office of Diversity and Multicultural Affairs at the College of Physicians and Surgeons is presenting the "Me Too Monologues," a theater performance exploring true stories about these issues.

Directed by Steven Li, P&S’17, student-actors will perform monologues about identity written and submitted anonymously by CUMC staff, faculty, and students. The show will take place on April 11, 2014, at 7 p.m. in the Riverside Lounge.

RSVP here, and watch a video about the upcoming performance, including the auditions.
