Columbia Nursing Welcomes Largest Incoming Class

It is graduation time for most students, but for one Columbia program, June is the start of an academic year.

Columbia University School of Nursing has welcomed its largest enrollment of incoming combined BS/MS and MS students for the 2014–15 academic year, which starts in June.

Nursing Dean Bobbie Berkowitz welcomed 270 incoming students during a week of orientation events. The incoming group is more diverse than previous classes, with Asian, Hispanic, African-American, Native American, Pacific Islander, and Alaskan groups from across the country represented.

Columbia Nursing will welcome the new class of PhD and DNP students in August.
