ColumbiaDoctors is collaborating with Precyse University to offer ICD-10 training for providers, beginning in October. Participants can get an early start on general training, and learn appropriate documentation requirements to ensure reimbursement.
A range of training and educational materials and apps to support providers will be available throughout the transition to ICD-10, and ColumbiaDoctors is working to obtain CME credit for these training sessions.
- Training is web-based (available on mobile devices)
- Portion of training will be specialty-specific
- Training becomes available in October 2014
- Training becomes mandatory starting January 2015
Additional information on the Precyse training will be provided in the upcoming weeks. For more information on ICD-10 training for providers, please contact Marilyn Hernandez, director, Office for Billing Compliance, at at mh547@cumc.columbia.edu.
