ColumbiaDoctors Prepares to Unveil Website, Launches Shared Social Channels

CD_FB_ad_02_01 (3)ColumbiaDoctors is building a robust online and social media platform to connect with our patients and our communities, build our brand awareness, and provide public education.

The new ColumbiaDoctors website, launching in June, features a new design, layout, and photography, all designed to strengthen and reinvigorate our brand through the use of best practices, with an eye on search engine optimization. Future pages will allow our physicians to generate their own content, such as wellness articles and patient stories. The ability to book an appointment online using DocASAP and other tools will also be fully integrated. A fully realized Children’s Health sub-site features its own content and appearance. Look for continuous expansion and improvement of the new site, with rollout of additional features throughout the year.

The faculty practice also is debuting a new, completely patient-facing social media identity for the faculty practice, which will include Facebook, Twitter, Google+, and YouTube channels, supported by a social media advertising campaign. These tools will feature mixed content, including video, images, and patient stories from various sources. If you think you have some inspiring, informative, traffic-generating content, we will soon have a social media content submission portal for you to send us your ideas (watch this space).
